Work on my boat series continues...
| The W. A. Kernan on the Mississippi River at St. Paul, Minnesota. Watercolors on Arches 140# cold pressed paper; 9"h x 12"w. The W. A. Kernan, built in 1974, is owned by the American Commercial Barge Line Comapny, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Twin screw, 5600 hp. Length: 45 m. Breadth: 14 m. In the fall of 2003, while touring St. Paul with visitors from China, we saw the Kernan at Lambert Landing. One of the crewman invited us on board and gave us a tour. |
